Publisher(s):This report is intended to inform policymakers, service providers, and other stakeholders about the findings and recommendations of the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) Ad Hoc Committee on Women & Homelessness, created to confront the issue of rising homelessness among women in Los Angeles County. The Committee’s work, as reflected in this report, aimed to highlight the unique and diverse needs of women experiencing homelessness and to influence service delivery and the direction of resources to more effectively address these needs.
