Addressing the Health Impact of ACEs and Toxic Stress in California Farmworker Communities

Event Date
Thursday, June 20, 2024, 03:00PM

In this webinar, representatives from Alianza Nacional de Campesinas, Futures Without Violence, and Líderes Campesinas will discuss an ACEs Aware pilot project to promote health, leadership, and collaboration between farmworker leaders and community health centers in farmworker communities. Project NACES, built in collaboration with local community health centers and our evaluation partners, aims to increase opportunities for farmworkers to inform health care screening and responses to Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), increase ACEs education in farmworker communities, build partnerships between community health centers and local farmworker leaders, and ultimately improve access to care. The presenters will share some preliminary lessons learned and a summary of this pilot project. This webinar will be simulcast in English and Spanish. Este seminario se transmitirá simultáneamente en inglés y español.
