In a 2025 survey by Futures and DV Hotline found that up to 60% of survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking were fired, denied promotion, or experienced harassment or discrimination in the workplace when they disclosed their experiences. Survivors are often negotiating between seeking safety, resources, and time for healing while maintaining employment.
