In Part 2 of this two-part webinar series, presenters will build on what was learned in Part 1 and will focus on how to use the information discovered in the trauma-informed victim interview. By acknowledging that these interviews are structured for the justice system and to effectively build a case, presenters will demonstrate what information and evidence may be uncovered using this interview method, how to facilitate the interview, and how to recognize when and how follow-up questions should be asked. Participants will listen to interviews and point out the difference between inadequate questions and strong questions. Presenters will also discuss the new evidence that has been uncovered by this interview method and how to use it to build a strong case.
