This webinar recording reviews the principles and process of beginning a violence prevention program on a college or university campus.

The webinar provides an overview of NISVS and the methodology used, outlines how NISVS compares with previous national surveys measuring violence against women, and identifies upcoming opportunities and resources related to NISVS.

This webinar focused on the nature and impact of trauma and how men and women may respond differently. Taking a gender-specific look at what female military veterans experience after combat stress and trauma, presenters explored how this trauma impacts personal, family and professional lives. They also discussed the need for greater gender-specific response and advocacy to improve the overall health and wellness of female vets.

This presentation focused on the challenges experienced by female service members and veterans as well as some of the services that are currently available to this population. Presenters provided participants with valuable information aimed at increasing their understanding when working with female veterans within the context of violence against women.
