This webinar from Ujima, Inc. features coffee and conversation around some of the help-seeking behaviors that Black women may employ when attempting to stop or mitigate domestic and sexual violence in their lives. The conversation explores the many different avenues or systems that Black women may engage when addressing the intersecting forms of violence in their lives. Presenters from the housing, domestic violence, healthcare, and legal systems discuss the ways in which advocates in those fields can be more culturally humble, trauma-informed, and responsive to the needs and realities of Black women survivors.
