On September 14, 2020, the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence and the National IPV Prevention Council, in partnership with the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence, the Michigan Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence, and the Ohio Domestic Violence Network, hosted our first ever National Prevention Town Hall, highlighting innovative social change efforts in the East North Central Region of the United States. 

This article highlights a culturally-based organizational structure developed from the perspective of culturally specific organizations. Additionally, the article explores cultural foundations for leadership development, management/administration, governance and organizational accountability using a lens that integrates cultural realities and considerations.

The objectives of the webinar are to: recognize characteristics of runaway and homeless youth (RHY) and the trauma they have experiences, review the Family Youth Services Bureau funded RHY programs, review how the programs meet the need of RHY, review the eligibility requirements for accessing services and how to locate a program in a particular geographic area.

"The primary goal of this model protocol is to help advocates better meet the safety needs of all battered women by providing them with the tools to address service needs and options for battered women and children impacted by their own or another's substance use, misuse or addiction. Our challenge as advocates is to provide as safe an environment as possible for all who use our services or work at our programs Ideally, this protocol and model policy will serve as a first step toward identifying options for both battered women impacted by substance use and their advocates."
