This Conversation Guide is designed to help you increase your staff's ability to support survivors when trauma affects interaction and communication.

This toolkit provides guidance to local primary prevention providers on all stages of program evaluation including determining needs, resources, and capacity, stating outcomes and developing a logic model, and collecting, managing, and analyzing evaluation data.

In 2009, representatives from the Wisconsin Departments of Health Services, and Children and Families, the Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault, the Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence, the Governor's Council on Domestic Abuse, the Wisconsin Children's Trust Fund, the Child Abuse Prevention Fund of Children's Hospital and Health System, and Children's Service Society of Wisconsin joined in a collaboration called "The Forward Wisconsin Initiative: Preventing Interpersonal Violence" to enhance efforts to change social norms and community tolerance for violence.

The Model Medication Policy is designed to offer guidance to domestic violence programs on adopting medication policies that are accessible, trauma informed, and compliant with anti-discrimination laws.

This report highlights data that documents how well local domestic violence programs are addressing the needs of those reaching out to them for assistance. This substantial data collection effort involved 90 urban, rural and suburban community-based domestic violence programs and nearly 1,500 domestic violence survivors surveyed in 2010 about their experiences seeking and receiving non-residential domestic violence services.

This Guide showcases the nine demonstration projects funded by the FVPSA Program of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services through Stamp Out Family Violence Act of 2001, focusing on their goals, collaborative partnerships, experiences, challenges, and successes. These Demonstration of Enhanced Services to Children and Youth Exposed to Domestic Violence sites expanded the fieldÕs understanding of the varied ways in which children, youth and families experiencing domestic violence can be identified and provided essential services and supports.

This Applied Research paper discusses asset building programs, including some of the benefits of asset ownership and the importance of such programs for domestic violence survivors. The lack of literature on asset building and domestic violence issues is highlighted, implying a need for further research.

Dr. Sanders discusses the importance of asset building to domestic violence survivors, key themes from the research, and implications for new directions in policy, programs, and practice.
