This paper makes connections between health equity and our work to prevent sexual and intimate partner violence. It centers the stories of survivors at the intersections of systemic racism, violence, and oppression. It explores ways to build both individual and organizational capacity to address health inequity. And, it offers a call to action for those ready to commit to health equity in their gender-based violence prevention work.

NRCDV's September 2019 TA Question of the Month outlines some of the key ways in which protective orders can support survivors' safety.

Creative and strategic community collaborations can create opportunities for supplementing traditional relocation funding and/or providing assistance when survivors do not qualify for these funding options. As one such strategy, NRCDV's July 2019 TA Question of the Month highlights examples of partnerships to provide free moving services to survivors.

This Technical Assistance (TA) Bundle includes TA Questions (TAQs) featuring creative programming ideas that advocates can adapt or replicate in their agencies to support survivor empowerment and healing. These TAQS are intended to inspire advocates to think outside the box and to build bridges and forge new alliances with non-traditional partners.

Therapeutic horticulture can be implemented in a broad range of settings, including domestic violence shelters, often as an adjunct to core services and programming.
