Is your community interested in:
- Improving inter-agency information sharing?
- Learning a method for system practitioners and domestic violence advocates to work together on assessing agency responses and problem-solving?
- Adopting and then monitoring core Blueprint best practices and/or policies?
- Implementing the Blueprint approach to law enforcement risk assessment?
Since St. Paul, Minnesota launched the Blueprint for Safety in 2010, many diverse communities have taken on the Blueprint to achieve these goals and more. Some Blueprint communities have committed to the 5 Phases of full Blueprint adaptation, implementation and monitoring while others have taken on one or more Blueprint strategies to significantly improve aspects of their coordinated community response (CCR).
The Blueprint can be a large undertaking, but it also offers a variety of ways to strengthen any CCR without engaging in the full process. Learn from Blueprint coordinators, advocates and agency practitioners from various jurisdictions - with different demographics, funding sources, and local challenges - who will share their experience using aspects of the Blueprint process and the impact it has had on their work to improve protections for victims.
