Sexual assault response is never the work of a single professional; it is a coordinated effort that requires trust, communication, and a shared commitment to centering survivors. One Case, Many Hands explores how collaboration among advocates, law enforcement, medical providers, prosecutors, and other community partners strengthens case integrity, reduces harm, and ensures survivors receive compassionate, comprehensive care. Grounded in real-world experience and the content of this training, participants will examine the core roles within the sexual assault response system and how each contributes to survivor safety, trauma-informed engagement, and evidence development
Using an interactive combination of discussion, scenario-based practice, and reflection, the workshop highlights what happens when teams fail to collaborate, missed opportunities, have inconsistent information, experience delays, and increased trauma and how a coordinated approach can bridge these gaps and enhance outcomes for both survivors and cases.
