Join the Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO), the National Center for Farmworker Health (NCFH), and Health Partners on IPV + Exploitation for a national webinar “Serving Patients with Limited English Proficiency” scheduled for Wednesday, May 14th at 9:00 am (HT)/ 12:00 pm (PT) / 1:00 pm (MT) / 2:00 pm (CT) / 3:00 pm (ET). This session will share lessons learned and promising practices for supporting patient with limited English proficiency in community health centers (CHCs). It will also showcase effective strategies and resources for translation and interpretation and describe how partnerships between CHCs and community-based social service organizations can help address barriers and improve access to health care.
Intended Audience: Federally Qualified Community Health Centers, Health Center Look-Alikes, Primary Care Associations (PCAs), Health Center Controlled Networks (HCCNs), and community-based organizations.
