Domestic Violence Civil Protection Orders (CPOs): Statutory Summary Chart

This chart contains information on CPO laws for each state, including: definition of domestic violence; who qualifies for an order; definition of abuser; whether a CPO can be obtained against a teen or adult dating partner; whether a CPO can be obtained against a same sex partner; whether child custody, child/spousal support, stay away provisions, or restitution can be obtained; and whether there is a “catch-all” provision.

Collaborations and Connections Between Child Support Agencies and the Domestic Violence Field: Resources to Make it Real

For DVAM 2015, OCSE and FPVSA released new resources to provide a roadmap for actions child support and domestic violence programs can take to enhance safe access to child support services and provide ongoing support to collaborations between child support agencies and DV programs/coalitions. WholeSomeBodies was developed as a primary prevention/ health promotion strategy to reduce first-time incidents of sexual violence. Key Findings: Rethinking Serial Perpetration

Although it is clear that a subset of perpetrators do commit multiple acts of rape over time, the research suggests that most perpetrators do not chronically offend over time.
