This Online Guide is a reissue of the 2000 publication, The Domestic Violence Handbook for Journalists, and provides resources and information to reporters who cover domestic violence homicides.

Hmong women working in domestic violence programs organized a series of meetings to understand the trends and issues in international marriages and to explore possible actions to address abusive international marriages. Their documentation of the problem and its impact, analysis, survivors’ stories, and strategies are captured in Abusive International Marriages: Hmong Advocates Organizing in Wisconsin.

Emerging evidence shows that youth engagement is an effective strategy for the prevention of teen dating abuse.
