This online toolkit provides training materials and other resources to educate officers about the dynamics and impact of officer-involved domestic violence and human trafficking.

The Ohio Domestic Violence Network recognizes that Prevention is an emerging priority for forwarding changes that reduce and eliminate intimate partner violence and all other forms of family and sexual violence. This toolkit was developed to be a central source of information on prevention work for those working on the individual, organizational, statewide and/or national levels.

Because survivor privacy is so critical to safety, several federal laws include privacy and confidentiality provisions and most states prohibit the disclosure of victim information. This toolkit is a collection of information and resources on the confidentiality and privacy obligations for programs that serve survivors.

This manual is designed for health professionals and addresses domestic violence from the clinical perspective, with a focus on assisting migrant and immigrant survivors of abuse.

While rigorous evaluations of domestic violence support groups have been quite limited, the broader literature on support group efficacy is informative. Taken together, there is a significant body of evidence indicating that peer support groups can alleviate depression and stress, and increase self-esteem, self-efficacy, and psychological well-being.

The purpose of this toolkit is to help tribal child welfare workers and care providers play an effective role in the prevention of suicide among the children and youth they serve. It has been translated into over 40 languages and has resonated with the experience of battered women worldwide.
