Sexual Violence Content Topic Results

This blueprint provides a nonprescriptive roadmap to how we can build collaborative relationships with community partners within and outside the anti-sexual violence movement. It identifies best practices, models, and resources for creating, encouraging, and preserving community collaborations both in conventional and innovative ways, hence strengthening the capacity of our sexual assault programs and bridging the gaps with other social service organizations and institutions.

Health is a basic human right and need. The September 2021 Technical Assistance Question of the Month (TAQ) shares select highlights from a newly released paper on health equity co-authored by staff at the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence and National Sexual Violence Resource Center.

#1Thing you can do to center health equity and racial justice in your work is to learn from, partner with, and amplify the work of these Black-led organizations. This list (organized in alphabetical order) is not exhaustive, but it is a starting point.

The rape and sexual violence laws of the 43 jurisdictions from 35 countries reviewed for this report deny access to justice for many survivors of sexual violence as they provide a number of opportunities for perpetrators to escape justice. This impunity contributes to the continued perpetuation of sexual violence.
