This Technical Assistance (TA) Bundle includes resources to help advocates and service providers increase their capacity around serving male-identified victims. Promising practices are shared throughout the resources to invite those helping survivors in developing programs and services to support survivors across the gender spectrum.

While nurses must be able to respond skillfully to victims of all types of violence, responding to victims of family violence requires sensitivity rooted in understanding how it differs from other types of violence. The content of this curriculum, which grew out of the 1999 American Association of Colleges of Nursing competencies, was developed in response to those findings to provide Minnesota nursing faculty essential curricular information to develop student competence in preventing, assessing, and responding to family violence across the lifespan.

Challenge celebrates the everyday heroes in our lives by sharing inspiring stories from individuals across the country in answer to the question, “Who would you like to thank for teaching you Respect?” The RESPECT! Challenge Action Toolkit offers a variety of resources and tools, including discussion guides, conversation starters, fact sheets, and more.

Because survivor privacy is so critical to safety, several federal laws include privacy and confidentiality provisions and most states prohibit the disclosure of victim information. This toolkit is a collection of information and resources on the confidentiality and privacy obligations for programs that serve survivors.

This manual is a comprehensive tool that provides information relating to public benefits. It is composed of chapters and training tools providing an overview of immigrant crime victims’ legal rights to services and public benefits.

Facilitated by the Ohio Domestic Violence Network, "The New Playbook: Standing Strong to Promote Non-Violence" is a 2-day skill-building workshop that will strengthen participants’ knowledge and skills to effectively challenge attitudes and behaviors that support multiple forms of violence including gender-based violence. 

This webinar series was designed for advocates and faith leaders (clergy and lay) to participate in together. This webinar focused on how to support victims of dating violence.

In this paper, the author describes her experience in learning to become an advocate for Deaf survivors of domestic violence. She emphasizes the importance of both linguistic and cultural competency, and the necessity of key collaborations towards successful advocacy work.
