While nurses must be able to respond skillfully to victims of all types of violence, responding to victims of family violence requires sensitivity rooted in understanding how it differs from other types of violence. The content of this curriculum, which grew out of the 1999 American Association of Colleges of Nursing competencies, was developed in response to those findings to provide Minnesota nursing faculty essential curricular information to develop student competence in preventing, assessing, and responding to family violence across the lifespan.

The toolkit is a comprehensive resource for working with Latino men in the U.S. with original audio-visual materials in Spanish and English that can be used in local campaigns. It also includes sections on the rationale for working with Latino men, cultural consideration for doing the work, and ideas on how to take action at the individual and institutional levels. The toolkit also includes a collection of tools and materials for working with Latino men that have been developed by various organizations in the U.S. and in Latin-America.

The Get It Back Campaign website provides extensive information and resources to help organizations to develop tax credit outreach campaigns in their communities.

The Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association collaborated on these toolkits to combat hate crimes. The toolkits provide basic and critical information for victims, community based organization, and community leaders.

This resource includes information on influencing factors that affect children exposed to disasters and emergencies. Minimizing risks through disaster preparedness and response are discussed. It also includes checklists for action.

This newsletter focuses on youth-led sexual violence prevention efforts. It includes spotlights on various programs and a discussion of oppression as a root cause of sexual violence.

You, Me, Us _ Our People, Our Relationships is an initiative by OUTLINE NZ and Rainbow Youth with assistance and contribution from many fabulous members of our community. A booklet resource full of useful tips to creating healthy relationship, identifying unhealthy relationship and ways to get help and get out as well.

This is a training tool to help community activists strengthen the capacity of community-based domestic violence prevention efforts. It includes a series of participatory training sessions that focus on helping training participants think about, discuss, and take action to prevent domestic violence.
