This webinar explored the significance, gifts, challenges, successes and the evolution of using an intersectionality of oppressions lens as the main approach to our work.

This report collects data concerning intimate partner violence (IPV) within LGBTQ and HIV-affected relationships from 16 anti-violence programs in 13 states across the country, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, Texas and Vermont.

Topics covered in this fact sheet fall under the following assertions: reproductive justice requires transgender people have access to comprehensive health care; reproductive justice means economic justice for trans women; reproductive justice demands an end to physical violence against transgender individuals; reproductive justice necessitates the use of inclusive language; how you can support transgender rights and reproductive justice.

Topics include prevalence rates, barriers to accessing services, and unique issues facing both trans survivors and service providers. Specific attention is paid to the complex needs surrounding shelter, as well as the challenges and opportunities of rural service delivery with trans survivors.
