Each October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month is recognized as a time to bring attention to the issue of domestic violence in communities across the country, share stories of survivors of violence, remember and honor individuals who lost their lives due to senseless acts of violence, raise awareness of trauma-informed approaches, and promote the resources organizations have to offer.
