The Enhanced Training and Services to End Violence and Abuse of Women Later in Life Grant Program creates a unique opportunity for providing or enhancing training and services to address elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation, including domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking, involving victims who are 50 years of age or older. A Mother Never Gives Up Hope: Older Mothers and Abusive Adult Sons (2009) from the National Clearinghouse on Abuse in Later Life shares the candid and powerful stories of Ruth, Lova, Anne, and Rita - four women who are dealing with abuse at the hands of an adult son.
