NOVA’s Human Trafficking Response Academy is an introductory to intermediate level training course designed for victim advocates and allied professionals working with survivors of human trafficking. This training academy includes topics pertaining to both forms of human trafficking: sex trafficking and labor trafficking (forced labor). Through engaging online training and access to dynamic, experienced instructors, those who complete this course will feel better equipped to respond and support trafficking survivors.

Join the Victim Rights Law Center and the Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence for an advocate-focused webinar on collaborative safety planning with survivors of dating violence. This interactive webinar will use mini case studies to walk advocates through safety planning with survivors. It will address common challenges and best practices to engage in effective as well as common issues and some best practices. By the end of the webinar, participants will be better equipped to assess survivors’ safety needs and engage in initial and ongoing safety planning.

As a sequel to the recent Expert Q&A on promoting positive workplaces, this webinar introduces a practical framework for building and sustaining a healthy victim services organization—one that is survivor centered, trauma informed, and resilient. Grounded in principles of collective care and shared accountability, the session explores how organizational well-being is strengthened by individual leadership and by the health, connection, and stability of the teams that carry the work forward.

The Institute on Violence, Abuse and Trauma (IVAT) invites you to participate in the upcoming 23rd Hawai‘i International Summit on Preventing, Assessing & Treating Trauma Across the Lifespan. Our theme this year is Collective Healing and Resilience: Culture, Connection, and Care. In many ways, these priorities and values are even more important today as our families, communities, and societies face tremendous challenges. The Hawaiʻi Summit is a multidisciplinary gathering of professionals working together to address the major issues in fields dealing with violence, abuse, and trauma.

NNEDV will host its 9th Annual Economic Justice Summit March 3-5, 2026. As part of our ongoing work to highlight and address the intersection of domestic violence and economic security, this national, three-day Summit will convene together advocates, state domestic violence coalitions, national experts, and allies to discuss and share strategies to improve economic security for domestic violence survivors. The Summit will feature speakers, panel discussions and workshops on a range of topics.

NLIHC’s Housing Policy Forum 2026 will convene community leaders, policy experts, researchers, tenant advocates, affordable housing practitioners, and members of Congress for thought and action partnership on ending the housing crisis impacting lowest-income and most marginalized renters in America.
