This report offers a snapshot of the national prevention landscape, with a particular focus on collaboration and funding.

This event draws on lessons learned from the past five regional events, bringing folks together across the country to generate ideas and learn from each other. The final annual Town Hall explores the importance of collaboration in our work, and introduces innovative partnerships that are working across the country to advance the prevention of domestic violence.

The 5th annual National Prevention Town Hall features anti-violence prevention approaches in the Mountain region of the United States through a virtual gallery tour of innovative change-making projects and collectives. This gallery tour can allow us to learn about what’s being mobilized beyond the systems we often work in for violence prevention. A panel follows the gallery tour, weaving together meaningful connections and address questions about reconnection, restoration, and re-indigenizing practices in the Mountain region.

This story features lessons learned from coalitions in California, Delaware, and Michigan whose approaches focused on building a network of partners working collaboratively to support IPV and TDV prevention. 

January is Human Trafficking Prevention Month, a presidentially designated observance designed to educate the public about human trafficking and the role they can play in preventing and responding to human trafficking. This toolkit breaks the month down into focus weeks to ensure clear messaging and resource sharing around the theme "Partner to Prevent."

This blueprint provides a nonprescriptive roadmap to how we can build collaborative relationships with community partners within and outside the anti-sexual violence movement. It identifies best practices, models, and resources for creating, encouraging, and preserving community collaborations both in conventional and innovative ways, hence strengthening the capacity of our sexual assault programs and bridging the gaps with other social service organizations and institutions.

This story features coalitions in Delaware, North Carolina, and Indiana that implemented approaches in communities experiencing disproportionate trauma as a result of exposure to stressors such as chronic poverty, high rates of violence, and substandard housing.
