Publisher(s):The ultimate purpose of Florida's intimate partner violence prevention plan is to work toward the shared vision: for the people of Florida to have non-violent and respectful intimate partner relationships. To achieve this vision, the plan works to prevent the occurrence of intimate partner violence by identifying and removing its causes at all levels of society, including by promoting healthy relationships. This plan describes needed change goals to work toward the vision over the next eight years and lays out a roadmap of strategies and tasks to achieve change statewide.
