There has been a rise in the number of minors contacting the National Sexual Assault Hotline to report abuse. That's according to RAINN, the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network, which runs the hotline.

From farming to first-response services and everything in between, women are playing an outsized role in keeping their communities safe and resilient in the face of COVID-19. 

"During this time of social distancing and for some quarantine, more than ever survivors are isolated," said Sabrina Santiago, co-executive director of the Network/La Red, a survivor-led social justice organization based in Boston that works to end domestic abuse in LGBTQ communities.

This spring, we invite you to pause and reflect on women who have inspired you, and consider how you honor them in your work for justice and peace.

Meaningful collaboration is so important that it sometimes becomes just another thing on our list to check off – but what does that mean about the kind of relationships we are building? The prevention team at the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) has learned some lessons about building authentic partnerships and wanted to share some of these things with you.

The National Resource Center on Domestic Violence has gathered resources capturing diverse perspectives on this work as it relates to the COVID-19 crisis, in addition to resources that can be utilized by preventionists, educators and caregivers alike to help foster family resilience, justice, and hope.
