Every year the National Call for Unity kicks off Domestic Violence Awareness Month by offering an opportunity to mourn, celebrate, and connect with advocates from national, state, and community-based organizations, governmental agencies, allied movements, survivors and their family and friends.

The opening session, Advancing Our Collective Liberation, centers the goals of the town hall, allowing space for panelists from each state to respond to questions posed by participants in order to offer inspiration and explore new ideas for moving our work forward.

This moment in time is a call for transformation – a critical opportunity to revisit the roots of our movement to end gender-based violence in ways that can purposefully restore humanity for all.
