Teen Dating Violence Among Latin@ Youth: Research-Based Facts
Publisher(s): To provide insight into the experience of teen dating violence (TDV) for Latin@ youth, Casa de Esperanza reviewed 10 years (2008-2017) of academic research that examines TDV with exclusively Latin@ samples. This review revealed a wide range of rates on the prevalence of TDV among Latin@ youth and identified a growing body of research that examines several potential individual and family level risk and protective factors.

Gun Violence and LGBT Adults: Findings from the General Social Survey and the Cooperative Congressional Election Survey
Publisher(s):Suicide attempts, intimate partner violence, and other forms of interpersonal violence are a significant problem for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people; however, the extent to which guns contribute to LGBT morbidity and mortality is currently unknown. This study aims to fill gaps in knowledge about LGBT gun violence by generating estimates of gun ownership and attitudes towards gun control by sexual orientation and identifying opportunities to improve data collection about LGBT gun violence through a review of surveillance systems used to track gun violence.
