The purpose of this guide from the Bisexual Resource Center is to provide direction to those wishing to start or expand bi+ support and social groups, so these communities can come together and thrive in places where bi+ folks might currently feel isolated and invisible. The handbook provides information on the bi+ community and its disparities, as well as discuss the logistics of starting a group in order to help facilitators feel empowered to handle situations in the way best for their communities.

This tip sheet was developed as a tool to support Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) programs, organizations, and their communities by outlining effective practices for supporting, affirming, and improving outcomes for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, queer, intersex, asexual, and two spirit, as well as non-binary and gender expansive (LGBTQIA2S+) youth and young adults.

The goal of this safety card is to be both a survivor-centered resource and a useful conversation starter for health care providers who are doing universal education around healthy relationships and assessing for violence specifically with transgender, genderqueer, or gender nonconforming people or in LGBTQ health settings.
